High School Summer Art Scholarships at Tyler

The Tyler School of Art Pre-College Summer Programs offer creatively driven high school students the challenging and meaningful experience of studying art, design or architecture with other young artists at Temple University. Held in Tyler’s exceptional facilities, classes are taught by dedicated faculty and provide students with an immersive studio experience in a college setting.

With your support, Tyler will be able to award pre-college scholarships and supply aid to high school students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to study visual art, design or architecture.

Goal: $5,000

Gifts of all sizes make a big difference in the lives of these students:

• $5 purchases a set of drawing pencils for one student.
• $10 purchases a set of paint brushes for one student.
• $25 provides a one-week SEPTA pass for a commuter student.
• $50 purchases all supplies for a student attending a two-week program.
• $75 buys drawing paper for 40 students attending a four-week program.
• $100 buys sketchbooks for 50 students.
• $200 funds a quarter scholarship for one student to attend a two-week program.
• $425 funds a half scholarship for one student to attend a two-week program.
• $850 funds a full scholarship for one student to attend a two-week program.
