The Temple Performing Arts Center at the historic Baptist Temple
Since its opening in 1891, the Baptist Temple has maintained a dramatic presence on North Broad Street in Philadelphia.
Now, the Temple is home to a premier event center on the northern portion of the city's vibrant Avenue of the Arts. The Temple Peforming Arts Center hosts thousands of people per year for events of all kinds - including m usic and other live performances, educational programs, commencement ceremonies, prominent public speakers and private celebrations.
The 1,200-seat Lew Klein Hall is the Temple Performing Arts Center's most inspiring space. While preserving much of the original interior's architectural detail, including the beautiful stained glass windows, the hall also features state-of-the-art sound, lighting and staging.
