Temple thanks the more than 45,000 individuals, corporations, foundations, estates and other partners who supported the university between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. Private support is an investment in Temple students and faculty, and the many ways that their research, service and professional paths transform our world.

Annual gifts from alumni and friends sustain the university’s excellence and ensure that today’s bright and motivated students have access to the myriad opportunities a world-class Temple education provides. Corporations, foundations, estates and other partners are an important source of support, providing critical resources for scholarships and financial aid, innovative research, facilities, community outreach and other priorities that improve lives. In Fiscal Year 2011, nearly 1,400 corporations, foundations, estates and other partners made gifts totaling more than $32 million. Named for the university’s founder and first president, the Conwell Society honors annual leadership philanthropic investment of $1,000 or more ($500 or more if a Young Alumnus). For more than 25 years, the Conwell Society alumni, friends, faculty, staff, corporations, foundations, and estates have been Temple’s most invested partners, fueling the opportunities for students and faculty to drive change in our local and global communities. In Fiscal Year 2011, 3,688 Conwell Society donors made gifts totaling more than $39 million. View the Conwell Society Honor Roll.
Established in 2011, the Loyalty Society honors those individual alumni who make a gift to Temple for two or more consecutive years. Members of the Loyalty Society are among Temple’s most dedicated donors, providing the university with a consistent source of vital funding. Gifts of any amount, to all areas of the university, are counted toward Loyalty Society membership. Donors listed in the Loyalty Society honor roll made a gift to Temple in Fiscal Year 2011 and in Fiscal Year 2012.* View the Loyalty Society Honor Roll.
