Over 80% of jobs are found through networking. Support Alumni Relations, the Temple University Career Center, Student Leadership and Student Activities in their efforts to develop students’ professional networking skills. The Student-Alumni Networking Night is held annually. Over 500 students and alumni will be in attendance. It begins with a workshop that provides tips for students on how to effectively network. After the workshop, students have the opportunity to practice their networking skills with alumni from all schools and colleges. Professional appearance is an important component of developing a personal brand. Students who attend this event will receive business cards, a business card carrying case, and a padfolio. Invest in career services for students to provide this wonderful opportunity.
