The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing conference offers young women in computing extraordinary opportunities to gain professional visibility, expand professional networks and learn about new and exciting technologies. The conference highlights the research and careers of women in technology. It brings together the best minds in computing, increases the visibility of women's contributions to computing and encourages collaborative proposals, networking and mentoring for attendees.

Female students from Temple’s Department of Computer & Information Sciences (CIS) have regularly presented their groundbreaking research, which gives them exposure to graduate programs, job prospects and international publications.

This year’s conference will emphasize the importance of diversity among attendees, speakers, panelists, students and all conference participants.

Your donation will help CIS send three women to attend the 2016 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference in Houston this coming October.

Thank you for helping CIS students experience this exciting celebration of women in tech!
