Bell Tower Music: Develop Professionals

$3,000 will help promote these talented student musicians.

I want to support Temple Made Music

Temple’s student-run record label needs your support!

Bell Tower Music is operated through Temple’s Media Studies and Production capstone course—the Recording Industry Practicum—that provides students real-world experience in music production, management, and marketing. Students have the guidance of Grammy®-winning producer Aaron Levinson, and Director of Temple’s Recording Industry Concentration Professor Jack Klotz.

With Temple talent and Temple facilities we’ve created some great work.Produced right in Annenberg Hall, “Curse the Weather” by two MSP majors and an engineering major who call themselves Mo Lowda & The Humble is a FANTASTIC album of original, soulful rock that’s available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and elsewhere that needs some promotional muscle behind it.

Coming in November, also recorded in our Studio G, is a new album by Boyer College of Music students, Chelsea Reed & The Fair Weather Five—they play legit, old-style, hot jazz and blues. Warning! They will make you want to jitterbug yourself back in time and stay there! Mixes are being finished now—and we need your support!

Here's how you can help: Money raised here will help us mount promotional campaigns for the artists above, get CDs pressed, make music videos. 100% of funds raised here will go directly to Bell Tower Music! The more you contribute, the more likely we are to help these artists succeed and learn about our industry in the process.

These projects are Bell Tower’s top priorities. And we’re hoping you can be part of them too!
When you contribute, you will receive:

$5 – The warm, fuzzy feeling that comes with supporting local, Temple-Made music! You're helping musicians, and students learning the industry—students who are gaining knowledge in the fields of music, audio engineering, journalism, communications, and new media.
