On April 22, 2021, more than 1,200 Owls came together to make a collective impact of over $430,000 in support of the Temple community. Donors sent a message loud and clear that they believe an investment in Temple University is an investment in a better world. From scholarships to groundbreaking research to emergency aid for students, there’s not one area of the university that remains unchanged by the generosity shown during Temple Toast.

The Temple Fund is the foundation for philanthropy at Temple and a critical resource for the university’s annual operations.

Temple's official motto Perseverantia Vincit, or "Perseverance Conquers" are words we live by and words that guide us. Temple was built on the foundation that if we persevere, we can accomplish anything. And when we find that success, it's our duty to bring others with us.

Matching Challenge

Temple University Trustee Marguerite Lenfest has generously agreed to match each Temple Toast donation with a gift to the Temple Fund. Individual donations up to $250 per donor to any fund will be matched dollar for dollar.

"I support Temple with an annual gift to the Temple Fund, a critical resource for the university’s annual operations. With so many worthy funds to support, I realize the breadth and depth a gift to the Temple Fund can have across the university. From students to faculty to the larger Temple community, I have confidence that a gift to the Temple Fund will support initiatives that will strengthen the university.”
