In 1947 Temple was over-run with thousands of returning veterans as part of the G.I. Bill. But this didn’t stop 18-year-old Rhoda Solodar (Kreiner), EDU ’87, ’50, who was attending another university at the time, from applying to Temple. “When I received my acceptance letter into Temple’s College of Education program I remember being so excited,” recalls Rhoda.
